Holy Spirit
Ladies, have you ever admired a gentleman from afar? The way he walked was so graceful. He had this award-winning smile and there was peace in his speech, instantly you knew that was a gentleman. Would you believe it if I told you someone like that can live inside you with the best qualities of a gentleman, He is the Holy Spirit and today we will discuss two of his qualities
THE HOLY SPIRIT OUR HELPER
The book of John chapter 14 verse 26 says
But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.
John 14:26 AMPC
This passage of the Bible describes the Holy Spirit as our helper. This our Gentleman is willing to help us, he is there in every situation to show us which road we should take. In our hour of confusion when we talk to the Holy Spirit, he will show us the path we should follow and the decisions we make with him will give us a complete victory. He will never leave us or forsake us in our time of need. As long as we have given him an open invitation he will always be with us. He is a great friend that will hold our hands through the storm. It is right to say the Holy Spirit is our best friend
THE HOLY SPIRIT OUR COMFORTER
The last characteristic of the Holy Spirit for today is that he is our comforter. As human beings we go through a lot in life, now imagine life hitting you from every angle and you have a friend who is always there to calm you down and talk to you, they are a safe place to hide, well the Holy Spirit can be that friend and more. The Bible verse above describes him as a comforter and he is always available to give us encouraging words in our time of need. He knows just want to say to make us feel loved and bring us peace of mind. Those words will comfort us in the storm, it would turn our focus to Jesus and take our minds off the storms we are facing.
The Holy Spirit is the best friend any person could ask for; therefore, I urge everyone to invite him into every aspect of their lives because he brings peace of mind to the weary soul.
A good read
