On the night before Jesus was to die he went to God and wanted to give up.
But he sought strength from the Father.
That was his vulnerable moment.
It I seen in the book of Matthew chapter 26: 39 where it says
Then he walked a short distance away, and overcome with grief, he threw himself facedown on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if there is any way you can deliver me from this suffering, please take it from me. Yet what I want is not important, for I only desire to fulfill your plan for me.” Then an angel from heaven appeared to strengthen him.
That moment he realized it was better to obey God’s will than to think of the pain.
Imagine dying for the love of Mankind.
This sacrifice is so great.
I don’t think anyone has sacrificed for love like the way he did for you and I.
He had to go to the cross for a Mankind that will be selfish, that will reject him so many years to come.
But Jesus did his assignment regardless.
Today in our moment of brokenness lets seek strength from God.
That is where perfection exist.
Purity,
Sound mind,
Sanity,
All is at the feet of Jesus.
