The love on the Cross some two thousand years ago is still considered the greatest sacrifice
No sacrifice can top that one
A man decided to lay his life for mankind
So we can be one with the Father
There is salvation for you and me because a man became selfless for the selfish
He left all his throne to come and be mocked, beaten and scorned for mankind
He did that to establish sonship for us with the father
Our salvation was so important to the Father that he had to give his only son
He had to watch him die for us
Today I’m here to tell you that there is an abundance of love on the cross
Cause one man became selfless for you and I
Till the very end, he fought for you and I
He did not leave anyone
What a perfect sacrifice.
