In the Name of God 2013 – Full Movie Download

Synopsis

Years of bouncing from one foster care home to another have left Mason Jones (Patrick Davis) feeling unwanted and unloved. When the 17-year-old moves in with the Lewis family (Pete Freeland & Robyn Lively), they seem just like all of his previous foster parents: middle-aged, one child, and called by God to his change his life. However, unlike the others, the Lewis family is determined to keep Mason around, despite the initial wishes of their son, Nate, who views taking Mason into their home as an attempt to replace their deceased son and brother, Jack.

With zero chances left and no other options than being locked up in juvenile detention, Mason starts attending a court mandated support group. There, he finds a surprise ally in the pastor’s daughter, Lacey (Jeannette Grout), and learns important life lessons about humility, respect, and fresh starts.

Christian Gospel Hype Review

“In the Name of God” is a dramatic movie about respect! Eric Roberts stars as a support group leader who uses the Ten Commandments as guidelines in showing respect toward others. A pastor’s daughter who bullied people with text messages benefits from the group, as do others. Mason is a teen that has been in and out of foster care homes all his life. He lets a leader in on a secret as to why he was originally placed in foster care. He has bounced around in the “system” all his life but one family and their son Nate refuse to give up on Mason.

The themes of this terrific movie include earning respect and putting others before one’s self and never giving up on people. The acting and story are remarkable. “In the Name of God” has earned our Faith Friendly Seal for all ages, but is not for young children. This film clearly shows that change is possible!
